JOB RESPONSIBILITY

Responsible for managing new application requirements or existing application change request. Participate in the whole development lifecycle phases; from requirements gathering up to the deployment. Handle support cases for all applications under the department’s care. Operates under general supervision with limited guidance and direction. May have interaction with external vendors and partners.

Tasks may include, but not limited to the following:

  1. Programming & team management tasks such as: –
    a. Develop programming standards and document any new or change request requirements.
    b. Lead to conduct or assist in requirement gatherings.
    c. Develop new application or enhance existing application to cater the requirements.
    d. Scope and estimate development efforts on new or change request requirements.
    e. Participate in the various testing phases and the deployment of the applications / change requests.
    f. Assist in troubleshooting, debugging and bug fixing.
    g. Monitor applications performance and development’s progress.
    h. Collaborate with other software/system developers, business analysts and system architect to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain the applications.
    i. Monthly/weekly reports of development progress.

  2. Support activities to Department may include:
    a. Maintaining / updating the various database.
    b. Asist in data collection for reporting needs.

QUALIFICATION

  1. Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent.
  2. MUST have minimum of 6 years working experiences in software development, particularly in Web and mobile apps development, etc.
  3. Proficient in PHP, Node.JS, ReactNative, Java script, React JS.
  4. Basic database knowledge in MySQL, MongoDB.
  5. Cloud resources monitoring and management (AWS, AliCloud, Azure).
  6. CI/CD and cloud deployment process.
  7. Docket and containerization.
  8. JIRA project management.
  9. Reliable and professional in conduct and practice.
  10. Have the aptitude and desire to learn new skills and competencies.
  11. Possesses good analytical and logical problem-solving skills.
  12. Team management and leadership, to lead a group of junior and senior developers.
  13. Able to work under pressure and independently without much supervision.
  14. Have a good communication skill.
