JOB SUMMARY

The role is to deliver the plan numbers for merchant sign up and total payment volume (TPV) per merchant.


JOB RESPONSIBILITY

  1. Meets the Sales Head regularly to update on sales progress and implements activities to achieve the targets set by the department and optimal profits for the property.
  2. Produces reports for tracking and analysis.
  3. While meeting the sales targets, he or she must uphold the high organizational values and ensure business ethics and integrity.


Financial:

• Assist the Sales Head in developing and implementing strategies to achieve pre-agreed volume and revenue for the merchant acquiring business.

• Analyse the main lines and identify potential targets with whom to cultivate new business.

• Monitor merchant transactions or volume and formulate appropriate merchant retention

strategies to minimize attrition.


Customer (Internal & External):

• Verify all documentation received from Merchant is as per requirement and agreement is

signed or stamped.

• Provide quality service to all merchants with respect to their merchant or gateway services.


Internal (Processes, Products):

• Follow the prescribed processes for all merchant related activities including set-up and

activation and integration. Updating of merchant information on timely basis, handling or

processing of acquirer charge backs etc.

• Obtain adequate documentation in line with KYC policies at the time of new merchant

sign-ups to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.


Learning & Knowledge:

• Possess working knowledge of the merchant acquiring business and implementation for all

payment solutions offered by the company.


Other:

• Ensure high standards of confidentiality to safeguard commercially sensitive information.

QUALIFICATION

  1. Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in any field.
  2. Minimum 2 years in the payment industry or at least 5 years of sales experience.
