The Jaringan Prihatin (“PRIHATIN”) programme is an initiative by the Government of Malaysia whereby approximately RM2 billion is allocated for Malaysians eligible for Bantuan Prihatin Rakyat (“BPR”), in the form of subsidised telco packages in collaboration with telecommunication Service Providers.

a)       Category 1: Married or single applicant with children (below 18 years only).

b)      Category 2: Married or single applicant with no children (or with children above 18 years old).

There are three (3) subsidy packages differing by the category of eligible applicants:

a)       RM300 device rebate [Open to category 1 applicants only)

b)      RM180 device rebate [Open to category 2 applicants only)

c)       RM15 bill/plan rebate [Open to category 1 and 2 applicants)

Bonus: Upon registering either option above, PRIHATIN applicants are also entitled for a 2GB Hour Data Pass redeemable daily via BLACK App.

Registration needs to be completed between 5 May 2021 to 31 July 2021.

Each eligible MyKad is allowed to opt in for the PRIHATIN programme once only during the registration period from 5 May 2021 to 31 July 2021.

Of course! If you are eligible for BPR, you are considered eligible for this programme. You are entitled to either RM15 over 12 months for a bill/plan rebate, or RM180 for a device rebate.

  • If you are single/married with children under the age of 18, you are entitled to RM15 per month over 12 months for a bill/plan rebate, or RM300 for a device rebate.

Oops! You are only eligible to receive the RM300 device rebate if your children are below 18 years old.

  •       Of course, you are eligible for the programme if you are eligible for BPR.
  •       If you have children under the age of 18, you are entitled to the RM300 device rebate or RM15 per month over 12 months for a bill/plan rebate.
  •       For device rebate registration, you will be notified by the selected XOX outlets or dealers upon successful/unsuccessful registration.
  •       For RM15 monthly rebate registration via XOX Self-Care, you will be notified via SMS within 24 hours after submission.

Oops! This programme is only available to Malaysian citizens who are eligible for BPR.

Yes. You can appeal the Prihatin eligibility via: https://bpr.hasil.gov.my or 1800-88-2747.

  •       Every eligible individual is allowed one claim per National Registration Identification Card (“NRIC”).
  •       You are free to choose one (1) mobile number only in which you wish to enjoy the offers.

The subsidy will be disbursed to the eligible subscribers through XOX PRIHATIN offered packages which the eligible subscribers have opted into.

  •       Of course! You are allowed to claim the PRIHATIN package/subsidy from up to four (4) different Telcos over the 12-month programme period but only for RM15 bill/plan rebate.
  •      You can be only registered with one (1) Telco at any one time.
  •       Oops! You cannot transfer the subsidy to a third party.
  •       PRIHATIN subsidy is tied to the individual subscriber’s NRIC

Opss! you will not be able to withdraw subsidy as cash.

The PRIHATIN device bundle comes with BLACK B49 plan which comes with 18GB of high-speed data, Unlimited Calls, and 100SMS. B49 plan comes with a 12-month contract.

  •          Of course! 1 year warranty can be claimed by visiting the authorized device outlets (Oppo, Samsung, or Vivo) with the condition that the defect must within the limits of manufacturer warranty.
  •         You are responsible for the repair and maintenance of the device upon receiving it. Should a defect or fault fall within the ambit of manufacturer's warranty, repairs shall be subject to the applicable warranty issued by the device manufacturer.

A one (1) year device warranty will start once you receive and activate your phone.

 You need to show the receipt payment as proof and bring together your defected or damaged phone to the device manufacturer.

In the event of non-payment of monthly fee and user account turning to Barred, XOX reserves the right to activate device IMEI blocking feature. This will result in disabling device from making or receiving calls, sending, or receiving SMS and accessing data or Internet.

IMEI blocking and unblocking will take up to 1-2 working days upon detection of account turning to Barred. So, avoid the hassle of a disabled device by making prompt payment to continue enjoy your device and B49 with great features.

You may contact us at 1300 888 010 upon making full payment so request can be made to unblock the device IMEI. Alternatively, the device IMEI will also be unblocked should the account turned back to Active the next working day.

Only registered owner of the mobile line can request to suspend and or block or unblock the device / phone. XOX will only block or unblock a device for the original lawful owner who reported its lost / stolen and not the end user.

Opps! Eligible subscriber cannot redeem more than once PRIHATIN subsidy per month.

  •       Oops! Eligible subscriber cannot choose when the RM15 will be disbursed to them.
  •       For ONEXOX Prepaid subscribers, the RM15 rebate will be credited as airtime only after the eligible subscriber purchase the eligible Prepaid plans.
  •       For BLACK subscribers, RM15 will be credited one day before the Subscriber’s bill cycle date.

  •      In the event your line is barred, blocked, or suspended, the rebate will be forfeited.
  •      If you reactivate the line within the rebate period, you will continue to enjoy the rebate for the remaining period until the 12 months period ends.
  •      Any missed redemptions during the period in time where your line was barred, blocked or suspended will be forfeited.

Unfortunately, no. Subsidy cannot be pro-rated.

 

  •      You will have twelve (12) RM15 per month bill/plan rebate upon registering for Prihatin RM15 rebate in which you can redeem only once per calendar month.
  •      You have up to 31 July 2022 to utilize your entitlement of twelve (12) RM15 per month bill/plan rebate.
  •      For BLACK subscribers, RM15 will be credited one day before the bill cycle date. Note that upgrading or downgrading of BLACK plan will result in change of bill cycle date.
  •      In that instance, subscribers might potentially miss out the RM15 rebate for that calendar month and only receive the RM15 rebate before the new extended bill cycle date.

 

  •       You would need to first terminate your PRIHATIN registration with Telco A.
  •       Once this is done, you can register with XOX to continue enjoying PRIHATIN rebate.
  •       1st registration with XOX only can be done from 5 May 2021 until 31 July 2021 if you are not registered with XOX yet.
  •       But, if you already perform your 1st registration with XOX, you can re-register with XOX before end of programme, 31 July 2022.
  •       You are only allowed a maximum of 3 switches (i.e., Telco A> Telco B >Telco C > Telco D) over the course of the programme.
  •       This only applies to those that have opted for the monthly data plan, not the device subsidies.
  •       Yes. It is applicable for subscribers who have not selected the PRIHATIN device bundle package of the other Telco.
  •       Subscriber is only eligible to RM15 bill/plan rebate if they had registered for the RM15 rebate from the previous Telco.
  •       However, the subscriber will have to terminate with their existing Telco first.
  •      You are only allowed a maximum of 3 switches after your initial registration with your first Telco (for example: Telco A> Telco B >Telco C > Telco D) over the course of the programme.

No, an eligible subscriber will not be able to switch to another Telco within 30 days from the Prihatin registration date of that respective Telco.

 

  •   Eligible subscriber will need to complete FIRST registration of PRIHATIN programme between 5 May 2021 to 31 July 2021.
  •   Depending on the Telco, Subscriber will need to re-register for its specific PRIHATIN programme upon registering for a new Telco.

Unfortunately, no. PRIHATIN device subsidy is only applicable for the selected device bundles offered by XOX. However, you may opt for RM15 per month PRIHATIN subsidy instead.

You can use the RM15 credit to:

(i) purchase monthly data plan (for prepaid customers), or

(ii) offset the bill payment of your postpaid monthly data plan (for postpaid customers).

The RM15 rebate will be credited one day before your bill cycle date. So, say hello to more savings!

The RM15 rebate will be credited after you have subscribed to the eligible plans or upon renewal of said data plans.

You will not be able to use the RM180 or RM300 device subsidy on an upfront payment. You can only use it for device bundle offerings.

Yes, eligible subscribers are allowed to terminate their prepaid PRIHATIN plans and re-register to a postpaid plan.

Opps! You will not be able to receive the RM15 bill/plan rebate unless you sign up to another eligible plan, and have not exceeded 12 redemptions over the duration of the programme which is from 5 May 2021 to 31 July 2022.

You will not receive RM15 rebate in your bill after termination.

Yes, you may terminate the device package however there will be an early termination penalty if it is still within the device package contract period.

  •       The termination fees are set out as remaining month of contract x B49 plans.
  •       You need to pay for [(Current month plan fee + additional usage/amount due (if any)) + (RM49 (B49 plan) x (remaining months of contract) x 6% SST) 

The 2GB is available for applicants who have registered and redeemed Prihatin RM300 & RM180 device rebate or RM15 plan rebate.

  •       Re-registration of XOX PRIHATIN is required if you want to continue enjoy both RM15 Bill Rebate and 2GB Data.
  •       Re-registration also applies to any event in Q&A of 21 (a) and (b) above.
